If i were president what are 5 things i would do and why .

If i were president for the day i would, lower taxes for all parties, shorten school hours or have no school on fridays, enhance school lunches, help more people get off the streets and give immediate death penalty no parole to rapist. I would shorten taxes because i dont think its fair for people to already have to work for the government (businesses) and have to give them excessive amounts of money. I would decrease school hours or days because i personally think 8 hours of school is excessive. Especially given in order to get a diploma you have to go through 12 years of school. I would help more people get off the streets because i feel if the government can spend money on things like funding immigrants they should also have no problem funding the people that are on the streets from this country. Not to say immigrants shouldn't be funded but there should be a balance. I would make school lunches better because the school lunches is borderline terrible. Alot of times the milk has an unlike texture and the food is questionable. I think that at least if they’re going to make kids go to school for 12 years they should feed them better. I would give death penalty to rapist because its proven that most rapist that get out of jail repeat this sinful action. It just doesn’t show a true protection to not only adults but children.

Today we did a newsela and went over a few rules

I feel tired and hate newselas but the one today was pretty easy.

When Celie says, “The God I been praying and writing to is a man. And act just like all the other mens I know,” she expresses disappointment, betrayal, and disillusionment. Prompt: At the end of the novel, Celie reconnects with Nettie and forms more peaceful relationships with the people who once harmed her. Reflect on the theme of reconciliation. Have you ever restored a relationship, forgiven someone, or been forgiven in a way that changed you?
