Prompt: Troy’s complaint about the unfair job system shows his frustration with racial discrimination. How did this conversation make you think about fairness and opportunity in society today? If you were in Troy’s position, what would you do?

The conversation made me think deeper into why people do the things they do to get by and why certain groups of people have it better than others. It reminded me of the world we live in even today and how some things are still the same regarding discrimination not only in the work force, but period. It also made me wonder, when will discrimination towards races truly be over ? Will it ever? If i was in Troys position, i would keep trying multiple outlets and jobs to find one that suits me and my personality.
