Reflect on a time when you discovered a new perspective that completely changed how you viewed a person, group, or place. How did your previous “single story” shape your thoughts or actions?

A perspective that changed my view on a person was when someone I was with made fun of a homeless person. Given some homeless people are homeless not by choice , would make it inhumane to bully them. I later saw a video of someone on TikTok helping a homeless person out and the person was homeless due to a breakup and getting kicked out, no family around to help. It made me view life differently and befriend that person.
