Think about a moment when you challenged your parent(s)’ rules or expectations. How did you feel, and what was the outcome?

One day, me and my mom had an disagreement about how I spend my money. She wanted me to save every paycheck, but I wanted to have the right to buy things I worked hard for. After the argument, I explained I wanted to enjoy my money and still be responsible. We compromised and I agreed to put a percentage up and spend the rest how I want.

Today we read Two kinds by Amy Tan and did a worksheet.
