Prompt: As Celie’s world expands in these letters, she begins noticing new things about the people in her life. Write about a moment when you suddenly noticed something funny, shocking, or unexpected about someone you see every day (a family member, a classmate, or even a teacher). How did that new discovery change the way you saw them?

In middle school i had this one teacher that i respected greatly and loved. I started to realize more and more how much of a liat she was and it made me respect her less. Me knowing she’s was ok with willingly lying didn't sit right with me and still doesn't. It also made me feel as if she didn't take me nor her other students seriously due to how easy it seemed lying came to her, even of it was about little things.

Today we read the book the color purple and answered some questions about a few letters.
