Prompt: Thanksgiving is a time for giving thanks and spending time with family over a nice dinner. Write about your most unforgettable meal.

Every year me and my mother would have thanksgiving at my uncles house. These past few years we've grown apart and my mother and I have had thanksgiving at home. Given she knows i don't eat pork and don't like turkey , she made this phenomenal pot roast. The meat was perfect, the sauce was proportionate, the carrots were soft and the potatoes were delicious. Everything just perfect and had me counting down for the next thanksgiving.

Today we read a few letters of the color purple and took and short group test.

Prompt: At the end of the novel, Celie reconnects with Nettie and forms more peaceful relationships with the people who once harmed her. Reflect on the theme of reconciliation. Have you ever restored a relationship, forgiven someone, or been forgiven in a way that changed you?
