Prompt: These letters show how Celie learns from the people around her, even in small ways. Think of someone in your life who influences you in a positive, everyday way—a friend, relative, teacher, or teammate. Write about what you’ve learned from them and how their influence shows up in your daily life.

My mom influences me in the best ways possible.Though shes not perfect, my whole life shes built my character to be a resilient, honest young woman. She has taught me to defend myself and character all the while respecting others and their voice. She has also taught me one of my best abilities which is to coexist with those i don't care for.
