Describe a hike, long walk, or outdoor experience you have had and explain what it was like physically and mentally. If you have never been on a hike, describe a time when you were outside your comfort zone or had to rely on yourself in a challenging situation. Explain what you learned from the experience.

A few months ago, I went on a trail walk with my dad, stepmother, and dog. It felt mentally relieving and calming. While on the trail, we came across deer. Not only were a lot of them present, but they were really close to us and staring us down. Ive never been that close to deer before, so I was a little frightened. Eventually, I realized it was a part of nature and to value a time like that rather than be scared. I learned that not all unfamiliar things are bad, but are more of an experience that can be beautiful.
