Prompt: Reflect on the simile and metaphor worksheet. Which topic challenged you the most when creating your figurative language, and why? In your response, explain what made that topic difficult and how you worked through the challenge (or what you might do differently next time).

 The topic that was hardest for me was "learning who you are or who you want to become." It was hard for me too find a comparison to relate to this that wasn't the same as the comparison used for the topic , "Moving schools, friendships ending, growing up. Since they are kind of similar in struggles it was hard for me to think of two different comparisons. To work through it I asked for some recommendations from different classmates to get an idea.

Their relationship slowly shifts from fear and dominance to honesty and distance. Write about a relationship in your life that changed over time as you grew older or more aware. What made the dynamic shift, and how did your understanding of that person evolve?

 A relationship that changed over time was my relationship woth my paternal grandparents. When i was younger i used to talk, text and visit them in Virginia very often. As i grew up i became less attached. Not because of anything negative, but simply because it just happened. I still love them dearly , we just communicate less. Growing up they taught me alot and put me through learning experiences so for that im grateful.
