Prompt: Why do you think filmmakers continue to use stereotypes, even when they can be harmful or inaccurate? Explain one reason discussed in class and give your opinion on whether this justifies their use.

 I think filmmakers continue to stereotype because they know thats what the audience expects. At the end of the day filmmakers want there film to succeed and if that means potentially being hurtful towards a group of people theyll risk it. I wouldnt say its justified but at the end of the day i do think you have to do what you have to do especially when money is involved.
